We clean each rug individually, using the method best suited to its particular weave, fibers and dyes. Our deep cleaning & deodorization beautifies and revives the luster & color of most area rugs, while turbo - fan drying protects the shape and finish of fine Oriental rugs. We can even repair minor color damage with a special tinting process.

Our Oriental rug expertise & experience in cleaning and restoring fine, valuable rugs and preserving them for generations to come, enables us to identify the safest, most effective method for treating Oriental rugs and other fine fabrics. We use dry soil removal, hand washing, low moisture extracting, and dry cleaning techniques for Orientals, Dhurries, Chinese, Persians, fine tapestries, and designer area rugs. Our technicians will inspect each rug for color fastness and choose the best cleaning method for each textile.

The textiles that we handle on a regular basis vary from Persian rugs to Chinese rugs - and all of the countries in between (there are hundreds of weaving centers in the world). We are a nationally recognized rug cleaner, having experience with the cleaning and restoring of silk and other fine weavings, and one of the few companies in Hawaii that have success at cleaning these rugs We also handle other flatwoven textiles and tapestries, as well as natural fiber machine woven specialty area rugs and carpets (such as Karastan).

Although we have several methods with which to clean your rugs, the most thorough manner in which we clean rugs does take more time, and therefore it costs more. You would not want to trust your valuable rug to a novice though. They will always be handled and cleaned by an IICRC certified master cleaner. Non-experts are not able to do this properly and can run into some real problems. Even many of our clients have rugs which were sold in foreign countries as 'silk' when in fact they are rayon...sometimes known as 'art-silk'.
